Where Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson will be playing his football next season is still anyone’s guess as he continues to be linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Senegal international has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea following the summer arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Jackson has now reportedly told the club about his desire to leave and join a Premier League rival in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old striker is reportedly keen on a move to Newcastle United this summer, but any possible move for him depends on whether Alexander Isak leaves the Magpies.
The Swedish international has his heart set on a move to Liverpool, but Newcastle have reportedly blocked his exit and are refusing to sell him under any circumstances this summer.
If Isak does manage to force his way out of Newcastle, they could then turn their attention to Jackson, who is desperate to leave Chelsea in the ongoing window.

Jackson’s move to Newcastle hinges on Isak’s departure from St. James’ Park
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle chiefs have told Isak he would not be sold under any circumstances this summer.
The Reds, however, are reportedly undeterred by Newcastle’s stance and are working on a deal to sign Isak before the window shuts on 1 September.
It’s also worth noting that Jackson came into Newcastle’s thinking only after missing out on their top two targets in Joao Pedro and Benjamin Sesko.
Now it has been revealed that Eddie Howe views Jackson as an exciting fit for his front line. However, reaching an agreement with Chelsea on the valuation of the player is expected to be a complicated process, as the Blues are targeting double the fee they spent to sign the striker in 2023.
