Amid a busy summer transfer window, Chelsea have opted to make one of their first-team stars available for a transfer.
According to multiple reports, the Blues have made winger Noni Madueke available for the right price, ahead of their preseason return in July.
Madueke has been a regular starter under Enzo Maresca, so it’s surprising that Chelsea are willing to let him go at the right price, but the decision has been made to boost finances at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca is looking to trim his squad to make way for other possible arrivals, so it makes sense for the club to offload players.
Following the signing of Liam Delap, Chelsea are rumoured to have agreed deals for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens from Brighton and Borussia Dortmund, respectively.
Madueke has impressed as a Premier League across the last 12 months and there is expected to be sustained interest in the England international following Chelsea’s update on his status.
