Chelsea looking to sell first team attacker and replace him with Nigerian forward

Chelsea are in the middle of a busy transfer window.

The Blues announced the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town in the mini transfer window of the season and look set to add even more firepower to their attack when the second transfer window opens on Monday.

This news does not bode well for Nicolas Jackson, who got used to being the only recognised striker at the club during the recently concluded season.

But with the arrival of Delap and potentially other strikers at Stamford Bridge, the future looks uncertain for the Senegalese international.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen is a name that has been heavily linked with a move to West London in the past few years, and if reports are to be believed, the move could become a reality this year.

Journalist Serdar Ali Çelikler stated that he believes a deal will be done in August for the Nigerian international, freeing up Galatasaray to push forward with interest from Jackson.

He said, “They are also waiting for Osimhen. I think they will wait until August. Osimhen is not in a hurry and is waiting for a move from England. What I heard is that if Chelsea gets Osimhen, Galatasaray will also get Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea. I am saying this now. He is a player I like very much. He had a good season this year.”
