Despite making several attacking signings in the summer transfer window, Enzo Maresca wants more from his side, which has led the team to look into other options.
A new report from TEAMtalk has suggested that Chelsea are leading the race to sign a top prospect from Juventus, which would see the Blues beat multiple teams, including Real Madrid and Arsenal, to his signature.
Which Juventus talent does Chelsea want?
According to the report, Chelsea have overtaken the race to sign Kenan Yildiz, one of the biggest young stars in the Serie A.
Chelsea made several attempts to sign the youngster in the summer, but Juventus have been keen to keep his services.

TEAMtalk’s sources have revealed that should Yildiz fail to reach a new deal with Juve, Chelsea are leading the race for him.
Maresca has sent scouts to multiple Juventus fixtures to watch the 20-year-old, and the report also claims that Chelsea are tabling a “very exciting proposal.”
Yildiz has scored three goals and assisted four times in 12 matches for the Italian club this season, and Chelsea want the Turkish international as a partner for Cole Palmer.
Chelsea submitted a £61.6m bid over the summer for Yildiz, but it likely the team will have to pay almost £80m if they wish to sign him.
Despite Chelsea leading the race, Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all firmly interested in the 20-year-old attacker.
