Chelsea’s transfer window is heating up — not just with arrivals, but with exits too.
After waving goodbye to Joao Felix and Djordje Petrovic, the Blues are reportedly preparing to part ways with at least seven more players before the transfer window shuts.
It’s all part of a larger plan to stay on UEFA’s good side after past financial issues, while also freeing up space in the squad and on the wage bill.
The club has already made serious moves in the market, spending over £200 million on new signings.
But with a reported need to end the summer in the black — or at least close to it — Chelsea are now turning up the heat on player sales.
The departures of Felix to Al-Nassr and youngster Ishe Samuels-Smith to Strasbourg brought in close to £50 million combined. Still, it’s just the start.

Who all could depart Chelsea this summer?
According to reports (via The Standard), Chelsea have placed seven players on the “sell list”: Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Lesley Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Armando Broja.
It’s a mix of senior stars and promising young talents. Some of them — like Veiga and Ugochukwu — could attract interest due to their age and potential.
Others, like Sterling and Chilwell, might be trickier to shift due to high wages and injury history. Word is, Chelsea want £20 million for Sterling and £25 million for Broja — prices that could see suitors hesitate.
As for Chilwell, it’s been claimed he’s yet to receive a single formal offer. That’s one assist the club would love to see happen soon.
With UEFA watching closely, Chelsea may have to get creative — loan deals with obligations to buy could be key. What’s clear is that this summer is all about balancing the books while still building a squad fit for the top four.
