Chelsea and Newcastle differ in valuation for Premier League striker

Newcastle United are in talks with Chelsea regarding a potential move for Nicolas Jackson, and it looks like a conclusion can be reached between the two clubs.

Since Alexander Isak looks set to leave Newcastle in the ongoing transfer window, the Magpies are actively looking for a replacement for him and are considering a move for Jackson.

While the Blues are currently working on deals for Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato, they would also be open to selling Jackson, who has fallen down the pecking order since the recent arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

Meanwhile, Jackson has turned down potential moves to Italy and expressed a desire to stay in the Premier League.

The striker is looking to move to a club where he will be the first-choice striker; therefore, a move to Newcastle might just be a realistic one for the Senegalese international.
