Claudio Marchisio has made his thoughts clear on the upcoming Champions League final between Inter Milan and PSG, calling Inter “more complete” but not necessarily stronger ahead of the May 31 final at the Munich Football Arena.
Italian veteran and twice a Champions League finalist with Juventus recently spoke to RMC Sport and said, “I don’t think Inter are stronger, but I do find them more complete—in terms of organization, both offensively and defensively.”
The 38-year-old, who lifted seven Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies, stressed that “anything can happen in a single match. It will be a great final.”
Inter has been dominant in the Champions League this season and will enter the final with ten wins and only one defeat across the competition which came against Bayer Leverkusen (1-0) last year in December .
Nerazzurri defeated Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in semifinal after eliminating Bayern Munich and Feyenoord.
PSG’s path was less stable; after finishing 15th in the group phase, they defeated Brest 10-0 in the play-off round.

Marchisio praised PSG’s progress: “They’ve grown throughout the Champions League campaign, especially in that tie against Manchester City. They’re a talented team, and they’ve shown that this season.”
He also highlighted Ousmane Dembele’s development: “He’s found more serenity, become more decisive, taken on responsibility, helped the team. He’s grown in personality.”
This is the first Champions League final between these two sides. Inter last won the title in 2010; PSG aim to claim their first.
Cesc Fabregas has his thoughts as well
Como coach Cesc Fabregas also weighed in on Inter Milan after facing them in Serie A. Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN, he said:
“We were against a very strong team. Even watching them live in person, you can see they have very high-level players.”
“We got about ten shots on goal. Against Inter, that’s not easy.”
