So many questions, all of which will be answered between now and June 22. The Celtics don’t know their full path quite yet, but they do know it won’t be an easy ride. The Cavaliers have been dominant all year, the Bucks and Pacers always pose a threat, and the Knicks have improved by leaps and bounds over the past two years.

Locked in as the No. 2 seed, Boston will play the winner of the Eastern Conference’s 7 vs. 8 matchup in the NBA Play-In Tournament. The Celtics’ first-round series begins on Sunday, April 20.
Tickets are selling fast for every game of the Celtics’ path to the Finals. Currently, the get-in price to see C’s in the first round is a little over $100 per ticket. Tickets closer to the court run for $300-$500 and up.

When do the Celtics play in the 2025 NBA Playoffs?
The Celtics’ opening-round series will tip off on Sunday, April 20, but the tipoff dates for the remainder of the series are yet to be determined.
The start of the second round for all teams will depend on the completion of the first-round matchups. The Eastern Conference Finals are set to begin on Wednesday, May 21, and the NBA Finals will tip off on Thursday, June 5.
As the second seed in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics will have home-court advantage for at least the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs.
