Many Boston Celtics fans have started questioning Joe Mazzulla’s position as the head coach of the team. One fan was direct, writing on X (formerly Twitter), “Fire Joe Mazzulla after this game.”
Not only Mazzulla, the entire Celtics’ roster was bashed by one fan, “2 20 POINT LEADS BLOWN IN THE SECOND HALF IN BOTH GAMES FIRE MAZZULLA AND TRADE EVERYONE.”
One fan urged for Mazzulla to be fired with immediate effect, claiming, “I’ve actually never been more repulsed by a team top down. Mazzulla should be fired before he even walks off the court, it starts there.”

One fan claimed, “Honest to god, I’d fire Joe Mazzulla on the spot for this. This is complete and utter jackass ball.”
One fan asked for Joe Mazzulla to be replaced by Sam Cassell, “Fire Mazzulla after this season and hire Cassell. He’s a real coach and would get much more out of this team.”
The Celtics play the Knicks in Game 3 on Saturday, May 10.
