Celtics 2025 draft pick is behind only Tacko Fall in shocking NBA Draft Combine measurement

Many players are invited each year to the NBA Draft Combine.

Players are tested through drills, but here is also where official body measurement data is collected.

Everything from height to standing reach is recorded.

One measurement they record is hand length, which one player in the 2025 Draft Combine had a near-record measurement.

What was the near-record measurement?

Celtics’ rookie Hugo Gonzalez was recorded at the combine with a hand length of 10.25 inches (@courtsidebuzzig).

Gonzalez is just 19 years old, yet clocks in with one of the highest measurements in this category, in NBA combine history.

The NBA combine database only shows from 2011 and on, but either way, it’s crazy to see a guard have one of the highest measurements in this category.

Gonzalez is tied for second, with players Xavier Tillman and Dexter Pittman.

Tacko Fall is first on the list since 2011, with a measurement of 10.50 inches.

Kawhi Leonard, who is known as the ‘Klaw’ for his huge hands, only had a hand length of  9.75 inches at the combine.

The Celtics are hoping that Gonzalez can blossom into an impact player in Boston, with a chance to get some real minutes already in his rookie season.
