Celebrities at Knicks game: Spike Lee, Timothee Chalamet among New York fans at Game 5 vs. Pacers

Madison Square Garden is one of the most iconic arenas in all of sports. It’s a smaller venue than people realize, which creates an intimate atmosphere filled with some of the most passionate fans — some of which are iconic TV, music, and movie stars.

The Knicks last won a championship in 1973, but the franchise continues to entice their fans with promising seasons that come up just short. This season is a great example, as New York finished the regular season 51-31 and rolled past the Pistons and defending champion Celtics before advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers.

Unfortunately for Knicks fans, things haven’t gone as planned for New York. Indiana won both games at the Garden to begin the series, and while New York managed to win Game 3 on the road, they lost Game 4, setting up an elimination game in Game 5. Once again, they’re calling on their passionate fan base to try to will the team to a necessary win.

To show the star power of Chalamet and Jenner, Teller was sitting right next to them at the game and was shown on the broadcast. He wasn’t given a name plaque, though.
