CeeDee Lamb helped the Cowboys walk away with a crucial NFC East win Sunday night, but his uneven performance is adding a wrinkle of concern to Dallas’ playoff push.
The four-time Pro Bowl receiver dropped three passes in the Cowboys’ 24-21 comeback victory over the rival Eagles at AT&T Stadium, continuing a worrisome trend that has shadowed his otherwise productive season.
This one CeeDee Lamb stat is raising eyebrows about the Cowboys’ postseason hopes
Lamb finished with four catches for 75 yards on 11 targets, including a 48-yard strike from Dak Prescott that jump-started Dallas’ rally from a 21-0 deficit. But he also left yards, and potentially points, on the field with multiple drops, including at least one on a pivotal second-half possession against Philadelphia’s secondary.

Those miscues were not isolated issues. Lamb has now been charged with a career-high eight drops through seven games this season, with seven of them coming in the Cowboys’ two meetings against the Eagles. According to ESPN, nearly all of Lamb’s drops in 2025 have come against Philadelphia, a bizarre split for Dallas’ No. 1 receiver.

The drops come even as Lamb remains one of the league’s more productive wideouts. He is on pace for his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season and has topped 65 receiving yards in every game since returning from an ankle injury, providing Dallas with steady volume in the passing game.
Through Sunday, Lamb has 44 receptions for 632 yards and two touchdowns, remaining one of Dallas’ top options in both targets and explosive plays. The Cowboys now face a quick turnaround with a Thanksgiving matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. While Lamb’s inconsistency will continue to be a talking point in Arlington and beyond, his reaction made one thing clear: he, too, isn’t happy with the performance.
