In 2024, Cardinals LB Mack Wilson Sr. ranked fourth on the team with 75 combined tackles. He now might have a different type of hit on his hands.
As the veteran gears up for his second season in the Valley of the Sun, he lent his musical skills to the franchise for its 2025 schedule release video. Under his stage name “Rocketship,” Wilson provided lyrical context for all 18 weeks of the season in a song aptly titled “18 Bars.”
With cameos from teammates and punchy bars that mention each of the Cardinals’ 14 opponents in the upcoming season, Wilson’s song and its accompanying music video are a creative approach to the schedule reveals that sometimes miss the mark.

Cardinals schedule release video
The music video opens in the Cardinals’ facilities, as Wilson is shown in the film room before beginning his performance in the studio.
Arizona’s official account shared the video along with the copy of “Wondering what the hype about? Come around and find out,” quoting the hook on Rocketship’s song.

Within the song, Wilson endears himself to teammates with shout-outs to “K1” (Kyler Murray), “Two Bs” (Budda Baker), “8-5” (Trey McBride), and head coach, “JG” (Jonathan Gannon).
He makes several plays on the fan bases and home stadiums of opponents, including a clever mention of Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, which is accompanied by a shot of Marvin Harrison Jr., son of Colts legend Marvin Harrison.
Including Harrison, the video features over a dozen Cardinals players.
