Caleb Plant vs. Armando Resendiz undercard: Complete list of fights before main event in 2025 boxing match

Caleb Plant returns to action on May 31, as the former champion faces Armando Resendiz. The fight in Las Vegas airs on Prime Video.

Plant (23-2) is a former IBF super middleweight champion, losing the belt against Canelo Alvarez to determine the undisputed champion at 168. Since then, “Sweethands” has gone 2-1, beating Trevor McCumby in September.

The 32-year-old has 14 wins via knockout. With another fight planned for him if he wins (more on that later), Plant looks to make a statement.

“In all of my fights, I’m looking to go in and put a show on. Sometimes you may win in impressive fashion and sometimes you might get a close decision. The most important thing is getting your hand raised. But I’m still looking to dominate,” Plant said.

Resendiz (15-2) is 3-2 in his last five fights and has 11 wins via knockout. The Mexican fighter beat Jarrett Hurd in 2023, and a win here would be the biggest one of his career.

A fight to determine his next opponent, featuring a former champion, is on the Caleb Plant vs. Armando Resendiz undercard, along with several prospects and contenders.
