Caitlin Clark’s stardom has continuously grown over recent years. Now, she’ll be front and center for one of the biggest — and most expensive — advertisement spots out there.
Nike, which hasn’t debuted a Super Bowl commercial in decades, is reportedly releasing an advertisement including Clark for Super Bowl 59 between the Chiefs and Eagles.
Clark originally had an NIL deal with Nike while she was playing at Iowa, and then signed an eight-year deal with the shoe brand in April 2024. As one of the faces of women’s basketball, the Indiana Fever guard is now one of the company’s biggest star athletes.
Here’s what to know about Nike’s Super Bowl commercial featuring Clark, including how long it’s been since Nike last released an advertisement for the NFL’s big game.

Nike’s Super Bowl commercial with Caitlin Clark
Although it has yet to be released, Nike’s Super Bowl commercial celebrates “women athletes changing the game,” per AdWeek, and is called “So Win.”
It isn’t just Clark that will appear in the commercial; the WNBA’s A’ja Clark and Sabrina Ionescu, U.S. soccer’s Sophia Smith Wilson and Olympic sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will also be in Nike’s ad.
The voice of the commercial will be rapper Doechii, who recently won three Grammy awards. AdWeek reports that Doechii’s voiceover will “addresses the fact that female athletes are often told how they can’t behave or do certain things, before saluting their audacious dreams and relentless pursuit of winning.”

Overall, Nike is seeking to celebrate women’s sports with its Super Bowl commercial.
SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS NEWS:
“At Nike, the athlete is at the center of everything we do, and we know one thing to be true: no matter how hard you work, how much you prove or how many barriers you break, there will always be doubters,” Nicole Graham, chief marketing officer of Nike, said in a statement according to AdWeek. “There will always be someone telling you what you can’t do or who you’re supposed to be. If you can’t win in everyone’s eyes, win in your own.”
The advertisement is also coming at a crucial time for the company. According to Business Insider, Nike’s new CEO, Elliott Hill, detailed a “turnaround plan” in December as its revenue and shares were down throughout 2024. The plan includes trying to make two famed sneaker brands, Jordan and Air Force 1s, popular once again by slowing their supply.
Now, Nike is making an expensive marketing investment with its Super Bowl commercial featuring Clark and other women’s sports stars. It also has a shirt releasing Sunday that goes hand-in-hand with its “So Win” commercial:
