Less than 24 hours after Luka Dončić was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in the most shocking trade in NBA history, another enormous transaction has taken place.
Chicago Bulls superstar shooting guard Zach LaVine is headed to the Sacramento Kings in a multi-team deal sending Kings superstar point guard De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
“BREAKING: Sacramento is finalizing a trade to send De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs in a multi-team trade that moves Chicago Bulls’ Zach LaVine to the Kings, sources tell ESPN,” Charania posted on Sunday night.
Fox’s departure from Sacramento picked up a head of steam over the past few days as it became clear the Kings were adamant about moving the 27-year-old point guard before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
With Fox having expressed that his desired destination was the Spurs, his wish has been granted.
Here are the full details of the trade, per Shams.
