Buffalo Bills sign 13 interception college superstar ahead of final preseason game

The Buffalo Bills are getting set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which will be their final exhibition matchup before they take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 on Sunday Night Football. Ahead of their final preseason game, the Bills have brought in a former college star cornerback to add to their defensive back room.

The Bills are signing former LSU cornerback Zy Alexander, the team announced on Wednesday. Alexander began his college career at Southeastern Louisiana before transferring to LSU. In his college career, he picked off 13 passes.

The Bills’ cornerback room is somewhat shaky on paper. Max Hairston is dealing with a leg injury, which means Tre’Davious White would start opposite Christian Benford. Dane Jackson hasn’t played well in the preseason, which could lead to Alexander being a surprise player who appears on the 53-man roster.
