The Milwaukee Bucks still need to add some talent, and one of their top targets could be at the end of his career.
Heading into free agency, the Bucks needed to make some big moves to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo satisfied moving forward. While signing Myles Turner and waiving and stretching Damian Lillard might have helped them move closer to title contention, the Bucks still have some issues in the backcourt.
Lillard being set to miss next season was already an issue for the Bucks, but the team has yet to truly address its point guard need. According to a recent report from Marc Stein, the Bucks have interest in adding Chris Paul, and considering he is in search of a starting job, Milwaukee could be a perfect destination.
Of course, Paul has been vocal about his interest in being close to his family in Los Angeles next season, with the Phoenix Suns and LA Clippers being his top potential suitors thus far. However, a recent interview with Jemele Hill might have given the Bucks some hope to sign Paul.

In that interview, Paul said that he had only one year left in the NBA at the most. Although that statement leaves the door open for retirement this offseason, it might be a blessing in disguise for Milwaukee.
Paul’s desire might be to be close to his family, but if he truly wants to play one more year and knows it’s the end, a stop in Milwaukee before going back to Los Angeles after the season to retire could be in the cards. Last season, Paul played all 82 games for the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 8.8 points and 7.4 assists.
Although Paul doesn’t have much left in the tank and is setting up for his final season, the Bucks could certainly use the help from a future Hall of Famer.
