AJ Green isn’t shy.
In fact, the Milwaukee Bucks’ guard loves shooting 3-pointers more than anyone in the NBA, by a lot.

That shows two things.
On the Y-axis is 3-point percentage. Green is at an absurd 49.7% from 3 this season.
On the X-axis is 3-point rate. Green shoots more than 80% of his shots from beyond the arc.

And hey, when you’re making essentially half of them, why not?
In his fourth NBA season, Green has hit his full stride as an offensive contributor.
He’s averaging a career-high 11.7 points per game, along with a career-high 2.1 assists per game.
The Bucks may be in for a rough go of it for a while, especially with Giannis Antetokounmpo out, and then even more so if Giannis was eventually traded.
But at least they’ve discovered that they’ve got a one-of-a-kind 3-point shooter in Green. And in the modern NBA, that’s a great thing to have.
