DeChambeau has won two majors, claiming victory at the U.S. Open in both 2020 and 2024.

To this point, DeChambeau has come up short in the other three majors, though he’s recorded at least top-10 finish in all.

He missed the cut at Augusta during some of the darker days of his career in 2022 and 2023 but came back with a vengeance in 2024, finishing tied for sixth before a fifth-place finish in 2025.
DeChambeau was in line to potentially win in 2025, entering the final round just behind Rory McIlroy and actually taking a lead early in the day, but he struggled down the stretch and fell out of contention by the final few holes.

Bryson DeChambeau wins 2020 U.S. Open
DeChambeau entered the final round of the 2020 U.S. Open two strokes off the lead, but he shot a 67 on what was otherwise a challenging day on the course for the rest of the leaderboard. While the rest of the top six finishers at the event recorded at least five bogeys in the final round, DeChambeau only had one.
The 2020 U.S. Open was played in September due to the COVID-19 pandemic and had no fans, so DeChambeau didn’t win a major in front of a crowd until the 2024 U.S. Open.

After struggling to overcome a tough period of his career between 2021 and 2022, DeChambeau climbed the mountaintop again in 2024.
DeChambeau’s strong performances at the Masters and PGA Championship in 2024 hinted that another major win might be coming for the eccentric golfer, and he finished the job at Pinehurst after entering the final round with a three-stroke lead. DeChambeau needed to hold off a challenge from Rory McIlroy, and he did so after memorably came through with an excellent bunker shot that ultimately allowed him to avoid a playoff.
The win was especially meaningful for DeChambeau, as it came at the same site of his idol Payne Stewart’s win in 1999.
