Bryan Mbeumo transfer fee: How much did Brentford pay and what will Man United offer?

Bryan Mbeumo has developed into one of the Premier League’s most consistent attacking players since Brentford won promotion four years ago.

The forward, who can operate either out wide or in a central role, scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in 2024/25 as Thomas Frank’s team finished 10th in the top flight. Only three players scored more top-flight goals throughout the season.

Mbeumo’s performances have won him plenty of admirers, including other clubs. Manchester United are reportedly pursuing a deal to sign him as they attempt to put together a squad that head coach Ruben Amorim can lead to better results than they managed in a wretched 2024/25 campaign.

Brentford will certainly hope to make a significant profit on their star performer, and Mbeumo himself is looking for a big wage increase.
