Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes is now at the center of a transfer storm.
As per The Mirror, the Portuguese playmaker has just seven days to decide if he wants to swap Old Trafford for the heat — and hefty payday — of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal, one of the top clubs in the Saudi Pro League, are leading the charge with a jaw-dropping £100 million offer.
If accepted, Fernandes would earn around £700,000 per week — tax-free. That’s enough to make even the most loyal captain think twice.
Fernandes has been a bright spot in what was a rough season for United. He picked up the club’s Player of the Year award for the fourth time, matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s record.
But now, he may have a new record to chase — one involving zeros on a paycheck.

What Ruben Amorim thinks over the Bruno Fernandes situation
United boss Ruben Amorim is hoping Fernandes stays put. After the club’s post-season tour ended in Asia, Amorim said, “I don’t think so, I don’t know for sure… every time I speak with him he wants to continue at Manchester United but you never know.”
There’s no clear answer yet. While there have been reports of Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho had already been spotted in Riyadh, holding talks with Al-Hilal.
The Saudi side, preparing for the Club World Cup, are eager to finalize the move fast. They want Fernandes in place before their tournament clash with Real Madrid in June.
United, meanwhile, are facing pressure of a different kind — financial. After missing out on Champions League qualification and £100m in revenue, the club might be tempted to cash in on their star.
Even former Red Devil Paul Scholes weighed in, saying on The Overlap: “They are talking about £100m for him. Man United cannot say no to that… you snap their hand off and take it.”
The ball is now at Fernandes’ feet — and it’s not just a penalty, it’s a career-defining shot.
