When Shedeur Sanders gets a chance at Cleveland Browns training camp, he has a tendency to put up a highlight or two.
That happened again on Monday as Sanders competes for a quarterback roster spot and maybe even a starting job.
Sanders had a sweet throw when he stepped up in the pocket and found fellow rookie Gage Larvadain down the field for a touchdown. Larvadain, out of South Carolina, did well on his end to go up and get it.

The bad news for Sanders is that he continues to slot in as the bottom QB on the healthy depth chart. With Kenny Pickett out on Monday (hamstring), that meant Sanders was third in the pecking order behind Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel.
All that Sanders can do is make plays when he gets his chance, though, and that’s what he did here.
String enough throws like this together and Sanders will have a chance. He’s had an uphill climb since going as the No. 144 overall pick after his precipitous slide to the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
In his last season at Colorado, though, Sanders completed 74% of his passes. This guy can spin the football. He keeps proving it at Browns training camp.
