Browns’ Shedeur Sanders clears air about reported $500,000 purchase

Rumors circulated on the internet over the weekend that Cleveland Browns quarterback and former Colorado star Shedeur Sanders purchased a $500,000 custom Rolls-Royce car.

During his time at Colorado, Sanders drove a custom, black-and-gold Rolls-Royce.

Deion Sanders Jr. was seen in a YouTube video showing a custom, green Rolls-Royce being delivered to the Sanders estate in Texas.

Some believed it was Shedeur’s.

The rumor was started by none other than Dov Kleiman, who is most likely known to NFL fans as someone who tries to generate engagement on his X/Twitter account.

Despite the attempt to make it seem like Sanders purchased a $500,000 car, the Browns quarterback responded on Twitter, saying the post is a lie.

“Another lie…. I’m focused on my team not a car purchase !”

Now, if Sanders wanted to buy a $500,000 Rolls-Royce, he certainly could. He has money from his NIL days.

But it’s back to football for the former Colorado standout.

Sanders and the Browns are hopeful that this relationship can continue for them over the next decade, and if things go well, perhaps he’ll even have a chance to become a starting quarterback and one day secure a massive contract.

He’s to make $4.6 million over his four-year rookie deal. According to reports, he got a $446,553 signing bonus.

Despite the signing bonus and not making as much on a rookie deal as Sanders likely expected, he’ll have an opportunity to make a good amount of money through endorsement deals and other avenues.

Sanders continues to be put in the spotlight, even when he doesn’t ask for it. However, his comments show where his head is at, and that’s all with the Browns, a promising sign
