It didn’t take long for Quinshon Judkins to climb the RB depth chart ladder with the Cleveland Browns.
Only three days after making his NFL debut, the second-round rookie out of Ohio State has been raised to No. 1 on the Browns’ running back depth chart.
It’s just an unofficial depth chart, and head coach Kevin Stefanski downplayed it when he spoke to reporters.
But the shift clearly wouldn’t have taken place without it being reality. Dylan Sampson is listed at No. 2, with Jerome Ford and Raheim ‘Rocket’ Sanders listed side-by-side as RB3.

Judkins was projected to play between 10-15 snaps in his debut Sunday in Baltimore. He played 20.
He got 10 carries for 61 yards and also three catches for 10 yards. The high majority of his yardage came after first contact.
The Browns have a gigantic task on their hands in Week 3.
The Green Bay Packers visit Cleveland. The Packers have looked like they have the best defense in football so far this season, led by new trade acquisition Micah Parsons.

Judkins will have his hands full.
The Browns are 0-2, a one-point loss followed by a 24-point loss.
Joe Flacco remains the starting quarterback, a position Stefanski doesn’t yet want to make a change at, and probably for good reason given the caliber of the opponent.
But Judkins looks like he’s moved right away into position to have a big workload against a top-tier opponent.
