Sibling rivalries can bring out the best in one another. In pro wrestling, that was evident with matchups like Bret vs. Owen Hart and Kane vs. The Undertaker. On Tuesday, it was teased that two of the biggest influencers in the world will face off in a boxing ring to determine who is the best to put on a pair of gloves.
Jake and Logan Paul, disrupters in the combat sports world, may finally fight each other in the ring on March 27. The match would air on MAX.
As social media stars, their popularity started on YouTube and continued via vlogs, podcasts or other business ventures. Both have had a unique path in the sports world. While Logan was the first of the two to make influencer boxing popular, Jake has gone above and beyond.

In 2018, Logan competed in an amateur boxing fight against KSI in a bout that ended in a draw. The two would compete in a rematch, this time as professionals. Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promoted the fight. He supported the matchup after seeing the numbers the first bout achieved. KSI claimed a split decision win before a crowd of 12,000 fans at the Staples Center.

Logan’s claim to fame in boxing was going the distance against Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather in 2021. He returned to the ring in 2023, beating MMA fighter Dillon Danis via DQ. He has since joined WWE, competing in various matches while holding the WWE United States Title at one point.
Jake beat fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in his first career fight in 2020. He fought former NBA star Nate Robinson next, knocking him out in two rounds. “The Problem Child” then went on a run of beating former MMA stars, from Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Mike Perry.
He lost against Tommy Fury in 2023 but rebounded by going 2-0 against other boxers. Jake participated in the biggest fight in boxing history when he beat Mike Tyson in November. They broke records on Netflix and competed in a packed AT&T Stadium.
What could Jake do to top the Tyson fight? It appears an answer has been given with a fight against his brother.

Both have teased a fight between one another for years, whether having back and forth arguments on podcasts, or calling one another out wherever and whenever they can. Nakisa Bidarian of Most Valuable Promotions suggested at one point that a fight, if possible, could top Paul vs. Tyson.
The contest will likely be promoted under Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions. A location has not been announced yet. Likely venues include Puerto Rico or Ohio, where they have their roots, or New York, California, Las Vegas and Miami.
Many have craved for the two to fight, whether as fans or to see them beat one another up. They may have gotten their wish. To the detractors, be careful what you wish for.
