The Denver Broncos have finally made the playoffs. Fans can stop hearing about how the team has gone eight seasons without being in the playoffs and can hopefully look forward to a future where things only get better.
The Broncos will face a tough test on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, but no matter how this season ends, the team will need a tight end to spruce up the passing game next season. If you have watched Penn State play at all this season, you know how good Tyler Warren is.
In his latest mock draft, Gavino Borquez of Newsweek has the Broncos taking Warren with the No. 21 pick in the first round. This would be the kind of pick that should net a grade of A+ on the report card of every draft analyst out there.
There are only a handful of game-breaking tight ends currently in the league. The Las Vegas Raiders found one in last year’s draft when they selected Brock Bowers. Warren will be one of those guys.

The thought of Bo Nix, after the incredible season he had as a rookie, being able to throw to a guy like Warren next season is absolutely tantalizing.
“Have you been watching this tight end from Penn State? He looks like Gronk out there”@BaldyNFL would LOVE to see Tyler Warren in the Broncos’ offense… and he can see it happening 👀👀 pic.twitter.com/BQGHgHKdYK

Warren has incredible hands and terrific athleticism. He caught two touchdown passes when Penn State defeated Boise State in the College Football Playoffs on New Year’s Eve and still has a chance to do more.
He finished third in the nation with 98 receptions and he has a nose for the end zone with 19 touchdowns in his college career. This would be a tremendous pick for the Broncos and though there is a lot of time between now and April’s draft, and a lot of other prospects to consider, Warren should be on a very short list for the team.
