Brentford vs. Chelsea lineups, predicted starting 11, confirmed team news, injuries: James ready for derby clash

Local pride is on the line when Brentford welcome west London neighbours Chelsea to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Chelsea moved into fourth place in the race for UEFA Champions League football when they defeated Tottenham in midweek. After a tough winter run that put paid to fleeting title aspirations, Enzo Maresca’s side have won five out of six matches across all competitions.

Bretford have slipped out of European contention with a slump of one win in their past four Premier League matches.

Thomas Frank’s side are also winless in their past eight home matches, including an FA Cup defeat to Plymouth Argyle, in a slump that stretches back to December 7.
