The 31-year-old did not even finish a full season with the Red Sox. After starting with the Dodgers in 2017, he was a two-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion. His time with Los Angeles saw him win 47 games and have just 22 losses.
Buehler is 162 strikeouts away from 1,000 in his career.

Philadelphia sits 6.5 games ahead of the New York Mets in the National League East standings. The Phillies are looking to hold off the Dodgers for the No. 2 seed in the National League and avoid playing in the wildcard round.
Currently, Zack Wheeler is out for the season, and Aaron Nola has been pretty poor for Philadelphia, so the right-hander hopes to bring a shot in the arm to the rotation, along with Jesus Luzardo, Cristopher Sandez and Ranger Suarez.
