Finally, the game was called back on around 11:30 at the top of the 7th. It was tied 1-1 going into extra innings, when the Phillies took the lead 2-1 at the top of the 11th.
The Braves responded as Austin Riley doubled to bring home Ozzie Albies to tie it up. Then Ozuna took to the plate and hit a dinger that would end the game for good.
After ending the game at 12:54 a.m. EST on Friday morning, both teams are slated for road trips with another game Friday night.
The Braves head to Tampa Bay for a game at 7:05 p.m.
The Phillies are off to St. Louis where first pitch is at 8:15 p.m.
It’ll be a tough turnaround for both squads, but Atlanta can be content with its big win, while weary-eyed Philadelphia will look to bounce back.
