Braves vs. Padres radio station: Channel, live streams, time to listen live to MLB Opening Day game broadcast

The Padres are set to welcome the Braves to Petco Park on Thursday on the MLB Opening Day with a rematch of last season’s National League Wild Card showdown.

No MLS team is more eager to turn the page to a new season than the Braves. While they managed to secure a playoff berth in 2024, their campaign was marred by injuries and underwhelming performances from key players. Within the first two months, Atlanta saw its ace pitcher and reigning MVP Ronald Acuña sidelined with an ACL injury that kept him out for the rest of the season.

One thing is clear: if the Braves have any hopes of making a deep postseason run this year, they’ll need Spencer Strider and Acuña back at full strength. Additionally, the rest of the roster must step up and put last year’s inconsistencies behind them.

The San Diego Padres, meanwhile, went all-in last season, pushing the Los Angeles Dodgers to the edge in the playoffs before ultimately coming up short. This time around, the road will be even steeper.

If Fernando Tatis Jr. delivers an MVP-caliber campaign and key veterans like Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, and Yu Darvish return to form, San Diego won’t be an easy team to overlook.
