Michael Harris II hasn’t had a great season. He’s been one of many disappointments in a disappointing campaign for the Atlanta Braves.
On Saturday, though, he flipped the script. And he did it in incredible fashion.
Harris, before the ninth inning, had hit a double, a triple and a home run. He stepped to the plate needing just a single to complete the cycle.
But when his liner to left skipped past the outfielder, Harris didn’t stop at first. He raced all the way to third.
No cycle. We’ll call it a tricycle.

A double, two triples and a homer.
Harris scored the go-ahead run (although the Braves’ season continued on its course with a blown lead and loss in 10 innings).
Hopefully, this is a jumpstart for Harris, who looked like a rising star not too long ago. That’d at least give Atlanta something to feel good about.
