The Denver Broncos are no longer a well-kept secret. They are a team on the rise, and fans of all teams around the league can see it.
The Broncos are expected to be a contender in 2025 after a terrific 2024 season in which rookie quarterback Bo Nix led the team’s resurgence and return to the playoffs. This season, Nix could reach even greater heights.
Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report, using betting odds over on DraftKings, listed five under-the-radar league MVP candidates for the 2025 season, and Nix, at +3500 odds, makes the list.
“In the final three games of the Denver Broncos’ 2024 regular season, Bo Nix posted a 126.0 passer rating while throwing nine touchdown passes to just one interception.
In their final 10 games, the 25-year-old rookie first-round pick threw 24 touchdown passes to seven picks for a 105.7 rating.
That despite a so-so supporting cast.
However, the Broncos’ generally young receiving corps should improve in 2025 and Nix will have a full offseason under his belt to further acclimate himself.
The Oregon product could do some serious damage, so much so that he may move right into the MVP outlook if Denver is able to make a serious run in the potentially contestable AFC West.

This has to be music to the ears of fans inside Broncos Country as others around the national media see the potential of this team and its quarterback. If Nix were to win the league MVP award, he would become the fourth player in team history to achieve the honor, joining John Elway (1987), Terrell Davis (1998) and Peyton Manning (2013).
At +3500 odds, you could earn a nice little payday by putting some money on that bet if it became a reality.
