The last two games for the Toronto Blue Jays have been forgettable by all means. On Tuesday, the Blue Jays had a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the eighth inning against the Los Angeles Angels.
Then, the Angels’ offense came to life with six runs as LA earned the 8-3 victory.
On Wednesday, the Blue Jays brought a 4-1 lead into the seventh inning, and a 4-2 lead all the way to the bottom of the ninth inning. But, once again, the Angels came back.
This time it was Jorge Soler who hit a game-winning, bases-clearing double to give the Angels the 5-4 lead and send the Blue Jays out of Anaheim in heartbreaking fashion.

After the game, Blue Jays manager John Schneider was clearly not happy and dropped a curse word while describing his feelings, per Mitch Bannon of The Athletic.
“You got to turn the page. And as s***** as it is right now, sorry for cursing, you get to do it again tomorrow, and we got to be ready to play.”
Schneider also dropped another golden quote that shows just how frustrated he is with the latest performance, per Hazel Mae.
“We’ve been operating with three round wheels and one square wheel..it’s not quite there, and when it gets there, you forget about this..right now, you want to try to just get the h*** out of here, go to bed, wake up and start all over.”
Toronto is now 16-20 and has lost four straight games, including the first two of the series against the Angels with the final game of the set coming on Thursday. After that, the Blue Jays travel to face the Seattle Mariners before returning home on May 13.
But, it has been a frustrating run for Toronto, and Schneider sure is hoping things turn around soon.
