Bare Knuckle FC heads to Philadelphia for its version of WrestleMania, KnuckleMania. Former UFC fighters Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens compete in a main event expected to bring fireworks to the Wells Fargo Center on January 25.
Alvarez (30-8, 2 NC MMA, 1-1 BKFC) has competed since 2003. “The Underground King” has won titles all over, from UFC, Bellator, BodogFIGHT, Reality Fighting, and FIGHT MATRIX. He joined BKFC in 2023, competing in a war against Chad Mendes and lost against Mike Perry last December for the King of Violence Title.
Stephens (29-21, 1 NC MMA, 2-0 BKFC) is tied for the second most knockdowns (18) in UFC history. “Lil Heathen” is 2-0 in the BKFC ring, beating Bobby Taylor in September.
Both veterans of the game, Alvarez and Stephens are ready to put it all on the line. Alvarez looks for the ultimate homecoming in his home of Philadelphia, while Stephens is ready to spoil the reunion.

“To be back here, in the city where I started with no gloves, to fight for these guys, I just want to thank all of my supporters. Nobody that comes out of that tunnel on January 25 can f— with me,” Alvarez said. “This city has a weird way of humbling people. Come January 25, I’m glad that I’m that guy that gets to humble you.”
“He got his face caved in by Mike Perry in the second round, and he quit. It’s just like Philly,” Stephens said. “You’re runners-up, always in second place. You’re going to find out what I already know — the baddest m—– f—– in bare knuckle right now is me.”
The BKFC heavyweight title is on the line on the undercard, and influencer Bryce Hall also competes at the event.
