Bills set to host former top Josh Allen target, Bills Mafia fan favorite to visit

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for their final preseason game of the summer where they’ll travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. Ahead of that, though, the Bills could be gearing up to bring back one of Josh Allen’s former top targets.

Per Jordan Schultz, the Bills will be hosting wide receiver Gabe Davis to a visit this week.

“The Bills are expected to host WR Gabe Davis on a free-agent visit this week after he meets with the Steelers today,” Schultz reports. “Davis had his best years in Buffalo, totaling over 3,200 yards and 35 TDs across four seasons (including playoffs).”

From 2020-23, Davis was the No. 2 target in the Bills offense, catching 27 touchdowns from Josh Allen. No game was more notable than the 2022 divisional round matchup with the Chiefs where he caught four touchdown passes in the infamous 13 seconds game. He was released by the Jaguars after just one season.
