Bills head coach Sean McDermott gives emotional speech defending Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills have become one of the NFL’s best teams over the last half-decade. Since 2020, the Bills have the second-most wins in the NFL, trailing only the Kansas City Chiefs. They also have the second-most playoff wins in that span, also trailing only the Chiefs – the team who has eliminated them from the playoffs four times.

With the season beginning on Sunday for the Bills, head coach Sean McDermott was asked what his biggest goal for the season was, and he gave an uncharacteristically hot response.

“Just overall changing the narrative on Buffalo, that is honestly probably the number one thing for me,” McDermott told reporters. “It bothers me, it honestly pisses me off because people don’t know this town, they don’t know how hard that is to get to four straight Super Bowls, it’ll never happen again.”

The Bills have been banging at the door for years, and one would think that with a quarterback as talented as Josh Allen that it’s only a matter of time before they finally break it down. We’ll see in due time if 2025 is the year they finally break through.
