Best MLB Player Props Today: Friday, June 13th

Friday brings a full 15-game slate, which means plenty of MLB prop bets on the menu. Our favorite game to target is the Rockies-Braves matchup in Atlanta, and we’re doubling down on a pair of Braves against the struggling German Marquez.

MLB Prop Bets for Friday, June 13th

Make the following MLB player props with bonuses on bet365 and DraftKings. Below, we explain the though behind each pick.

Pick #1: Acuna Over 2.5 Hits, Runs and RBI (-110 at Bet365)

Marquez enters the game having surrendered at least four runs in back-to-back starts, and in nine of his past 12 outings overall. He’s yielding hard contact at a 48% clip and has a dreadful history against the Atlanta lineup.

Current Braves hitters are slashing .347/.388/.627 versus him, over a 75 at-bat sample size. They’ve clubbed 4 home runs and 12 extra-base hits, with Matt Olson and Ozzie Albies responsible for the bulk of the damage.

We’ll get to Albies with our next selection, but our favorite bet is over 2.5 hits, runs and RBI for his teammate Ronald Acuna. Atlanta’s franchise hitter is tearing the cover off the ball this year, batting .353, with a 1.083 OPS.

He’s been scorching hot over the last 7 days with a .391/.481/.652 slash line, scoring five runs, while smacking nine hits and two homers. Acuna has also terrorized right-handed pitchers like Marquez all season, and we’re banking on that trend continuing tonight. The 27-year-old is batting .407 versus righties, with a 1.196 OPS.

Pick #2: Albies Over 1.5 Hits, Runs and RBIs (-115 at Bet365)

Sticking in the same category, we’re also betting over 1.5 hits, runs and RBI for Albies. The 28-year-old has been relatively quiet this season, but a matchup with one his favorite punching bags should help turn the tide.

Albies is 6-for-14 lifetime against Marquez, with a pair of home runs. He’s recorded at least a hit in four of his past five outings and has cleared this line in two of his past three games. A switch-hitter, Albies has been much better as a left-handed bat this season, posting Fra slugging percentage that is .32 points higher, and an OPS that is .66 points higher.

Bet365 has daily MLB betting bonuses, including a 50% same-game parlay boost that can be used for these prop bets.

Pick #3: Peralta Under 5.5 Strikeouts (+130 at DraftKings)

For our final selection, we’re targeting under 5.5 strikeouts for Milwaukee’s Peralta at juicy +130 odds. Peralta has failed to clear this line in three of his past five outings, and Friday’s matchup versus the Cardinals is a difficult one.

Also of concern, Peralta has been trending down in the strikeout department. His 9.12 K/9 rate is the lowest mark of his career and marks the second straight season that it’s been on the decline. His swinging strike and called strike rates are also below career average marks, and his history against St. Louis isn’t great.

Current Cardinals batters are slashing .266/.350/.468 against him with 8 home runs, and just a 21% strikeout rate.
