The Bengals are looking to bounce back in 2025 after missing the playoffs in back-to-back years with a 9-8 record and finishing third in the AFC North division last year.
Cincinnati, led by quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, have shown they can beat the best in football. Despite the trend of ending the regular season on a strong note, their slow starts early in the campaign continue to cost them, leading to narrow misses for the postseason.
The 2025 campaign marks Zac Taylor’s seventh year as head coach. And with Burrow, still in his prime as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and fresh off a 4,918-yard, 43-touchdown season, the Bengals can’t waste another year by dropping short of contention.
All signs point to the Bengals again being a Super Bowl sleeper this year. However, they will have to first pivot through one of the tougher schedules in the league, including matchups against NFC North and AFC East teams, in addition to navigating an always-competitive AFC North division.
