Bayern Munich set to sign Euro U21 Golden Boot winner after personal terms agreed

Bayern Munich are closing in on the signing of Nick Woltemade after the Stuttgart striker agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga champions.

The 23-year-old, who just won the Golden Boot at the U21 Euros, seems ready to trade Stuttgart red for Bavarian red — and he’s made it clear he won’t settle for anything else.

The German striker scored six times during the U21 tournament, finishing as top scorer and helping his country reach the final.

But this wasn’t just a summer fling. Woltemade had a strong domestic season too, netting 17 goals in all competitions and guiding Stuttgart to a DFB-Pokal win.

Woltemade has drawn interest from all over Europe — including from the Premier League. But he’s not budging.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, “Woltemade only wants Bayern.” In fact, the youngster has already turned down Chelsea and Napoli to stay focused on one goal: playing at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern are expected to make their first official offer soon. The striker has agreed to a five-year contract, and with several players leaving the club — including Thomas Müller, Leroy Sane, and Mathys Tel — the move could not come at a better time.

How much Bayern could pay for Nick Woltemade?

The fee could be the biggest talking point of this transfer. Stuttgart reportedly want around €60 million, but some insiders claim they’re aiming even higher — possibly close to €100 million.

Former Germany international Didi Hamann isn’t buying the hype. “For me, even €50 million would be too much for him,” he said, suggesting a more reasonable range would be €30–40 million.

There’s also talk that Bayern might sweeten the deal by offering 19-year-old Paul Wanner, who is already on Stuttgart’s radar, as part of the negotiation.

Still, despite the fee debate, Bayern look set to win this race — and with Woltemade already dreaming of Munich, it seems like this striker transfer is going straight into the back of the net.
