
After winning the Bundesliga title, Vincent Kompany is setting his sights on the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which gets rolling from June in the USA.
However, the Bayern Munich management team are also working quickly to bring in some key transfer targets for this summer after already opting to extend the contracts of Joshua Kimmich, Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala.
Leroy Sane reportedly agreed to updated contract terms a couple of weeks ago including a notable pay cut. However, the German winger has since made a U-turn, after changing agent to link up with Pini Zahavi.
As per Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, the 29-year-old’s entourage has made a fresh proposal with a fixed annual salary of €12m [$13.3m], plus performance-related bonuses of €3m [$3.3m], which could eventually total up to €15m [$16.5m] over the duration of a new deal.
Bayern Munich’s current offer stands at a contract worth €10m [$11m] per year in base salary, with an additional €5m [$5.5m] in potential bonuses.
According to report, Bayern Munich are in no mood to improve their package and they are not happy with Sane’s sudden change of mind and the approach of his new representatives.

If the Bavarians and Sane’s entourage fail to reach a middle ground, the 29-year-old will leave the club for free, as his current contract ends in June.
The 29-year-old has been a crucial member of Kompany’s Bundesliga-winning team. He’s featured in 44 games this season, netting 14 goals and providing five assists.
According an additional Sky Germany report, Sane wants a Premier League move, if Bayern Munich do agree to his terms. He rumoured to be leaning towards to Chelsea or Arsenal, but he is not interested in a return to Manchester City.
