Barcelona are not expected to bring in any new faces in the January transfer window but there could be some key exits in Catalonia.
The La Liga giants are currently working on a deal to secure the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the second-half of the 2024/25 campaign.
Both players would be ineligible for match action from the start f 2025, with their current registration balanced against the club re-purposing funds from injured players, but the deadline is close to ending.

The club are working on multiple avenues to free up the necessary funds to register the pair – but all options remain open – including Olmo potentially leaving on loan.
One of the possible routes to bring in quickfire cash could be via selling players in January with Mundo Deportivo reporting Frenkie de Jong could be transfer listed at a reduced price.
Frenkie de Jong’s Barcelona contract, transfer fee
De Jong has been locked in talks with the club since the summer as part of negotiations over unpaid salary payments to the Dutch international.
Barcelona are open to extending his contract beyond its current expiry in 2026, but primarily to allow for the owed sums to be split across a longer period, to ease the financial burden.
De Jong and other Barcelona stars deferred wages during the Covid-19 pandemic and the club have been working to settle multiple accounts with departed stars.
The latest update indicates Barcelona believe the best financial decision is to sell the former Ajax star with his transfer fee used to cover the money he is owed – and boost the €60m need to register Olmo and Victor.
That could mean dropping his transfer value to as low as €20m with rumoured interest from La Liga and the Premier League in the 27-year-old.
