Atletico Madrid join PSG in race to sign 25-year-old forward

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to battle Atletico Madrid in the growing transfer race to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting the duo are chasing 25-year-old Serbia international.

The striker’s future has been up in the air for long time and it looks the Turin giants are ready to cash in. Vlahovic signed from Fiorentina in January 2022 for £66m [$88m] but he has not fully lived up to expectations.

According to GiveMeSport, Juventus could accept bids as low as £20m [$26.5m] which is significantly below their original investment, as the forward enters the final year of his contract.

As per CaughtOffside , PSG have been tracking Vlahovic since early 2024, and are now actively seeking a new No. 9 to partner Gonçalo Ramos.

With the club keen to move on from Randal Kolo Muani, Vlahovic fits their tactical needs. But they are not alone in their interest with English duo Arsenal and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation.

Despite Vlahovic’s struggles for consistency in Turin, his overall numbers remain very respectable. Across all competitions in 2024/25, he’s netted 14 goals and laid on five assists in 39 appearances.

In Serie A alone, he’s scored nine times in 27 matches, and Atletico’s interest could add some urgency to PSG’s own links.

With Alvaro Morata’s long-term future unclear, Diego Simeone’s side could benefit from Vlahovic’s profile – physical, left-footed, and still only 25. Juventus may push for closer to £35m [$46.4m], but know they might settle for less, to avoid losing him free in 2026.
