Arsenal target makes clear demand from his future club amid transfer links

You can expect Arsenal to have a hectic summer transfer window as their entire transfer plan will revolve around the striker that they are desperately chasing this summer.

The Gunners finished second in the Premier League for the third successive season. They also reached the semifinals of the Champions League before losing to PSG.

The pressure is mounting on manager Mikel Arteta, and he needs to justify the team management’s backing by winning a trophy. The last trophy that they won was five years back when they won the FA Cup in 2020.

Arteta is keen to bring in a striker who can score goals consistently and lead the line for Arsenal. He feels it was a major area where they lacked compared to the 24/25 champions, Liverpool.

While Gyokeres has taken the limelight with the transfer rumours and reports, Sesko also remains a contender to move to North London.

Recently, the Slovenian marksman broke his silence on his demands from his future club in an interview with Sport1.

“The club has given me a lot and continues to give me a lot every day. It’s a great club to develop at

“In the future, I want to play for a club that suits me, that brings out the best in me. That’s the most important thing for me.

“For now, I’m a player for RB Leipzig, so I’m taking it day by day. If a transfer happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t,” he said.

The 21-year-old is pretty clear about his demands, and it remains to be seen where he ends up this summer window.

Could Sesko leave RB Leipzig this summer?

Sesko is a player who is keen to grow and develop as a striker, and RB Leipzig provided him with that platform when he moved from RB Salzburg in 2023. He scored 18 goals in 42 matches in his first season for Leipzig.

He improved on his goalscoring ratio with 21 strikes from 45 games this season across competitions.

However, despite all his heroics, Leipzig could only finish in seventh spot in the Bundesliga. As they cannot offer Sesko European football next season, there is a greater chance of the young striker leaving.

Arsenal were reportedly interested in him last season, but there were doubts over his gametime with Kai Havertz leading the line for the North Londoners. Despite those concerns, the Gunners are expected to approach the youngster once again this summer.

Apart from Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring the 21-year-old as they are all in the market for a striker.
