Just days from the end of the NBA’s 2024-25 regular season, Anthony Edwards had a field day with the Grizzlies, shooting a blistering hot 68.4% from the field.
In a matchup that had significant implications on the Western Conference standings, Edwards was flat-out dominant scoring the basketball, leading Minnesota to a 141-125 victory.

The majority of Edwards’ buckets came from deep. He hit on his fourth 3-pointer of the night around the mid-way point of the second quarter.

Minnesota couldn’t be stopped in the third quarter, the fuel of what became a blowout victory. During a huge Timberwolves run, Edwards leaped to grab a missed 3-pointer from Julius Randle, then stuffed the ball back in the rim.

Minnesota’s 52 points in the third quarter of Thursday’s game were the most by any NBA team in a quarter this season. Edwards helped punctuate it with a step-back 3, carving out a ton of real estate with a quick move.

Anthony Edwards points career high
Edwards’ career-high in scoring is 53 points. That came earlier this season, on Jan. 4 in a matchup against the Pistons.
He’s reached the 50-point threshold just one other time: a 51-point game against the Wizards on April 4, 2024.
