Angels fans call for GM Perry Minasian’s ouster after 20-run loss to Rangers

The Los Angeles Angels fanbase has endured a great deal of suffering over the last decade. The Angels have not made the playoffs since 2014.

Well, that fanbase had another suffering moment on Wednesday night against the Texas Rangers, losing by a final score of 20-3. This was another bad loss for the Angels this season. With the win, Texas improved to 68-67 on the season, and Los Angeles dropped to 62-71 on the year. The Angels are on pace to finish in last place in the American League West. Assuming they don’t go on a massive run, there could be wholesale changes this offseason.

Los Angeles Angels fans want general manager Perry Minasian fired

It is not a surprise that the Angels fanbase wants a different general manager, manager, and owner. Perry Minasian has been the general manager for this team since the 2020 season. They have not made the playoffs at all during his tenure with the team. He has also not drafted well, and it is one of the reasons why they have not done well as an organization.

Mike Trout has struggled to stay healthy, and the Angels couldn’t afford to keep Shohei Ohtani around, so he decided to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers instead after the 2023 season. This is what some Angels fans had to say about Minasian on Twitter:

The Angels need to completely rehaul everything in the organization this offseason, and that starts with firing the manager and the general manager. Los Angeles also needs a new scouting department and better drafting. The only way they can fix this is by building it from the ground up, and that starts with a new regime after this season concludes.
