All-NBA Teams 2025: Final voting results, list of players on First, Second and Third Teams

The NBA’s annual end-of-season awards are headlined by the 15 players selected to one of three all-league teams.

Beginning in 1989, the league has selected three teams of five to represent the All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams. Up until the 1988-89 season, there were just two teams selected to recognize the 10 most worthy players.

The 2024-25 season is significant in that it is the second in which selections can be made regardless of position. Before the 2023-24 campaign, teams were comprised of two guards, two forwards and a center but in the era of positionless basketball, the teams can consist of any combination of five players.

This year also marks the second that players must meet a minimum games-played threshold to be eligible for an All-NBA selection. Players who did not see at least 20 minutes of playing time in 65 or more games are not eligible for an All-NBA selection, with an exception for those who suffered an injury deemed season-ending.

With those parameters in mind, here are the three All-NBA teams for 2024-25.

How All-NBA Teams are selected

Like other NBA end-of-season awards, All-NBA Teams are voted on by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters.

For All-NBA, each voter chooses the five players they deem most worthy of First-, Second- and Third-Team selections.  2025 is the second year in which selections are made regardless of position.

Players receive five points for First Team votes, three points for Second Team votes and one point for Third Team votes.

Who has the most All-NBA selections?

LeBron James sits alone atop the leaderboard for career All-NBA selections, now that he has made his 21st.
