Alejandro Garnacho ‘says yes to Napoli’ as Man United consider cut-price striker bid

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly agreed to join Napoli. According to Italian sources (Sky Sport Italia), the Argentine star has informed United that he only wants a move to the Stadio Maradona this month.

Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, but there is still a gap in their valuations.

Reports suggest that Manchester United are asking for around €80 million for Garnacho, while Napoli are only willing to offer €50 million, with a possible increase to €60 million.

However, to sweeten the deal, Napoli are said to be offering a discount on Victor Osimhen, who will be available for a €75 million release clause after his loan spell at Galatasaray.

Napoli are reportedly open to lowering their asking price if United reduce their demands for Garnacho.

Chelsea’s interest adds twist in Garnacho transfer

Chelsea have also shown interest in Garnacho and were reportedly keen on securing his services last week. The Blues are said to have concerns about the winger’s temperament and have been seeking reassurances.

Garnacho’s agents were spotted at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s recent win over Wolves, adding to the speculation about a potential move.

Despite Chelsea’s interest, Napoli remain in pole position as they seek a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently joined Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli’s opening bid of around £40 million was rejected by United, but they are expected to return with an improved offer.

Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, is reportedly open to selling Garnacho as he looks to reshape his struggling squad. The coming days will be crucial in determining the winger’s future.

United and Napoli officials are set to meet soon to finalize the transfer. Discussions may also include Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu, whom Napoli has blocked for a future move.
