While the Seattle Mariners have already clinched the AL West, and the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays have locked in playoff spots, the rest of the field is not yet settled As the Cleveland Guardians vie for the AL Central, two spots are available among them, the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros.

All six postseason berths in the AL have been secured, but the Red Sox enter Sunday as the only team locked into a wild-card spot. The Yankees and Tigers, both sitting in wild-card spots, still have a chance to win their respective divisions.
The Astros, meanwhile, were eliminated on Saturday.
