That’s a throwback to the 2024 NBA champions.
Given injuries, ages and salary cap restraints, there’s no way this group can be fully staying together any longer.
Horford hasn’t given any major indication of his intention yet.
The 6-foot-9 Horford is slated to speak to the media before his offseason begins in an exit interview, so we could learn more then.
Horford is coming off his 18th regular season. He’s now spent seven years with the Celtics over time. And maybe, just maybe, there is a chance this is it.
The Florida legend may just wake up one day and decide to mix it up, but for now, he’s still a great piece of the Celtics, if they decide to re-sign him.
